The last couple of years have been an exciting time for the Saudi Journal for Kidney Disease and Transplantation
- The Journal was indexed in PubMed in 2006
- We started an association with Medknow in 2007
- A new website was created for the Journal ( www.sjkdt.org ) in 2007
- We have uploaded all the full text articles back to 1995 in the website. This was completed in 2008.
- We have established a very user-friendly search engine on the website to search all the previous issues and get full articles free of change. This was established in 2007
- We uploaded articles form past issues to PubMed
- We have established an online Manuscript Submission System in 2007
I am pleased to inform you that our article submission rate has increased from 5.6 per month in 2006 to 14.2 per month in 2007 to 25.4 in 2008
As a result of this increase in submissions, and in order to allow for early publication the Editorial Board has decided that starting August 2008, the issues will appear digitally in our site at monthly basis and there will be an early website publication preceding the hard copy publication.
