We are pleased to announce that Prof. Tej K. Mattoo has been appointed to serve as the next Editor-in-Chief (EIC) of the Saudi Journal of Kidney Diseases and Transplantation (SJKDT). The SJKDT is the official publication of the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Prof. Mattoo is Professor of Pediatrics (Nephrology) and Urology and Vice Chair of Department of Pediatrics at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, USA. He is also Chief Editor of the International Journal of Nephrology and Section Editor of UpToDate. Prof. Mattoo received his medical degree from Government Medical College, Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, India. He trained in Pediatric Nephrology at Guy's Hospital in London, UK and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, USA. With his vast research and editorial experience in the medical field, he will lead the journal into its new era. Please join us in welcoming Prof. Mattoo to SJKDT and wishing him success.
